Wyman, Bill

Der britische Musiker. Er wurde als Bassist der Rolling Stones (1962-93) bekannt. 1974 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Solo-Album "Monkey Grip", es folgten u. a. die Alben "Stone Alone" (1976) und "Bill Wyman" (1978). 1998 gründete er die "Bill Wyman & The Rhythm Kings"-Band, mit der er weltweit auf Tournee geht. Alben u. a.: "Anyway the Wind Blows" (1999), "Groovin'" (2000), "Double Bill" (2001), "Just For The Thrill" (2004). Filme u. a.: "Sympathy for the Devil" (1970), "Ladies and Gentlemen the Rolling Stones" (1974), "Let`'s Spend the Night Together" (1982), "Digital Dreams" (1983). Veröffentlichte u. a.: "Rolling With The Stones" (2002, mit Richard Havers), "Bill Wyman's Treasure Islands" (2005), "The Stones: A History in Cartoons" (2006).
